Hampton Inn & Suites Hartford-Manchester

A pretty good hotel for the genre and a convenient stopping point if traveling in New England. Rooms are equipped with microwave, fridge and coffee. Ample parking outside and it's a walk to a few places to eat; the next door burger chain offers hotel guests a 10% discount. I found a quiet and comfortable environment in my room. I used the fitness center which is well equipped for a hotel if this type, and I saw that the indoor swimming pool was well maintained. Breakfast was ok with coffee on tap. Bottled water is available at the front desk. My only comment is that the water pressure for the bath is low and the tub creaks like an old barn in a storm. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Quiet, clean rooms. Free hot breakfast. Large parking lot. And an indoor pool! Lots of restaurants located within walking distance.

Great location, 30 minutes from BDL, shopping and dining options available nearby ( mention to your server at the Artisanal Burger Company that you’re staying next door and you will get a 10% discount; when you’re at the restaurant, ask for Kasey. She’s amazing!), spacious and very clean room ( I stayed in room 334), and comfortable beds. Lauren ( front desk) and Lizzie ( the housekeeping manager) were fantastic, friendly, and very professional! Thanks too to Angela, the General Manager, for her wonderful hospitality! I’ll definitely be back! My only issue ( not the hotel’s fault) was with irresponsible pet owners who were too lazy to pick up after their dogs. They allowed their pets to relieve themselves on the sidewalk near the entrance to the hotel and conveniently left the mess for others to track into the hotel or their cars!

This Hampton Inn has an excellent location, easy and safe free parking, excellent customer service, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was above average, the air conditioner worked well, the shower was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Rooms have a refrigerator and satisfactory television. The pool and fitness room looked nice, and the ice machines worked. That said, there's nothing particularly fancy about this hotel, but all of the important boxes are checked as positive. Hotel taxes in Manchester, Connecticut, are strangely high, so the total room rate of about $200 per night seemed a little pricey. One suggestion for the hotel would be for them to offer a free bottle of water per customer per night, to at least help justify the price.

Rooms were clean, a little dated. Hallway carpets are older. The staff was awesome.

Clean room, tasty free breakfast, friendly staff. Always gave us extra stuff when we asked. Blankets for the bed are a tad uncomfy. The AC in the room is amazing, super cold and wonderful. The outlets in our room were a bit funky, but overall very positive experience.

Truly wonderful staff here. Rooms are very nice. Good places to eat are within a mile radius. Plenty of area for your dog(s) if you bring them. You are not in the middle of Hartford, but it is an easy drive away. Will plan to try again when we are in the area

Pretty decent rooms at this spot, and located right by lots of restaurants and shopping so no shortage of places to go if you are staying in the area. Staff wasn't as nice as some places I've been, but they were polite enough. Room was what I call the "split" design and was pretty clean.
